These glass boards can be used for cutting cheese, meats, bread, etc. Glass is non porous so it can be sterilized in your dishwasher as needed (the feet may come off in the dishwasher). Hand washing is recommended.
People have asked if they can be used as a trivet and the answer is technically yes - however.... Glass is a heat conductor which means that where the hot pot sits on the glass is going to be very hot - the outer edges will be cool. So if you lift the glass board when it's hot it will likely crack or fracture due to thermal shock of the heat traveling thru the glass to the cold glass too quickly. Please exercise common sense and care if you use them as a trivet. Custom orders are welcome!
